
The BRIDGE Program
Building Relationships through Intercultural Dialogue and Growing Engagement (BRIDGE) has provided professional learning for 953 teachers from across Australia and Indonesia to increase their global competence and intercultural understanding.

The Australia Indonesia BRIDGE School Partnerships Program has established 253 school partnerships since it was established in 2008.
Goals of the program are:

Participating schools establish sustainable school partners and

Participating educators build and apply pedagogical competencies to improve educational outcomes.
Establish a school partnership
Establish and develop a school partnership designed to build strong relationships between Australia and Indonesia.
Professional development
Participate in an online professional learning program that will build your intercultural understanding, global competence and pedagogical competence.
Partnership Plan
Develop with your partner a partnership plan that builds teacher capacity and provide opportunities for students to connect and collaborate.
